Easy to access park when coming up Eastlake Parkway headed south. Make a quick right into the driveway after the monument sign.
Parking sign posting says, parking is for 2 hours only. Neat park, adjacent to Eastlake Highschool with nice open grassy area, a playground area with sand for kids including a play structure and swings , two baseball diamonds, and a central public restroom.
The concrete trails that goes around the whole park is about half a mile, so you can easily do a mile in two laps. Parking lot is pretty small, if the Highschool parking lot is open then the concrete hand ball courts are usually open too. At the Chula Vista community park, which is a very beautiful park, near a few strip malls in a very nice area. This event was free and open to the public, it was a good community affair.
With a variety of of different types of dancing, even a Malaysian dance group, with colorful traditional outfits, these groups swayed to the sounds of the Pacific Islands. School dance groups, that did organized new steps that had the crowd up and screaming. There were four bands, and two a old school bands. Plenty of food vendors This will become my must attend event. Would of been better but seems like dog owners dont pick up after their pets and when the lawn got mowed it was just everywhere.
It smelled so bad too. Other than that would of been better without having to look where you are stepping or the smell. Nice park ok equipment and close to the house.
Perfect for a quick stop to get the energy out of the little one. We were only there one day, for a Select tournament. Many of the foul balls ended up landing between the fields, where people were standing since the fences are not very high.
The bathrooms have no doors and there was no toilet paper. The fields, themselves, were fine. Great fields for soccer, dogs allowed on leash, 2 baseball diamonds, 1 swing and slide area for the kids.
Huge park next to a high school. It has many fields. Handball, sand volleyball, baseball, softball, 2 kids play grounds, restrooms, picnic shelters, and some parking. Odd but it was totally empty on a Saturday late afternoon. Maybe cause it is surrounded by the school and commercial areas.
Its a great park for kids bike riding. Although some areas are a little rough, patches and gaps in the sidewalk, the sidewalk is wide and relatively level. Making a loop around the entire park. It has a lot of space, and it is a beautiful place with parks, and many other facilities. This park ensures that one will have a fun experience with family or individually. This is a park where your kids can play softball, baseball too do some running plus it has a playground and bathroom facilities.
Got excited with my toddler and walked in the grass Monday 10 am. He got muddy soaked socks, I didnt realize how swampy the grass was. All organizations All cities. Chula Vista Community Park. Nice park but with limited parking. Can park at the school if the gate is open. Its very clean, very well maintained and very quiet. Lovely family environment.
