In fact, I never even installed the thing When I unzipped it, I put it as I do with all of my 'test' programs into a folder called "my temp", under the sub-folder of "MyReminders".
So it's not an OS file or program, and not even running. The message I get is "Error deleting file or folder. Can not delete 'MyReminders': It is being used by another person or program. Close any programs that might be using the file and try again". I've always been able to wipe out my tested programs under Win This is just frustrating!
Worse is not being able to move something into a folder I've created Money, Word, etc. Dragging Frontpage to that folder moved it When I tried deleting the old folder in safe mode it looked to have been deleted, but was back again when I ran in normal mode.
On thing that I believe is dirfferent is that nothing else can access a directory that you are trying to delete or modify. As an example, you open a command window and change to directory "XYZ". The error message you get is "The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process.
